The Girl and the Horse

Such an astute connoisseur, the horse. He’s not only an expert in hay and flowery fields… this animal, it knows the secret confluence of scents is to be found in the nape of a girl’s neck. And it is precisely there, beneath the shadowed warmth of the hair that all perfumes of one’s body mingle after the day’s race. And look at this animal, his olfactory pleasure must be incredibly superior to ours! In fact, if there is one defining feature that I envy him, one piece of his anatomy which I would gladly thieve from the horse, it’s not the usual asinine thing, it’s his nostrils fit for a king.
