Shooting with FR-F1 sniper rifle, France, early 80's.

At twenty-five, I’m still hesitating between shooting and photography. Both activities demand total attention, precision, concentration. My farewell to arms is soon to come, but during that summer of ’86, I’m still competing. And the police is quick to pick up on it, seeing as how the Brabant killers (a criminal case of serial murders that made headlines in Belgium) must be highly trained marksmen. Thirty years later, when a weekly Belgian paper asks me for a short crime story,  it’s undeniably a true story that comes forth, published today in Le Soir Mag. It’s in French but, for those of you who think that as long as you’re innocent, you’ve got nothing to worry about – this one is for you.
