These kids from Cu-Chi are playing on what’s left of this old tank destroyed by their forefathers during the Vietnam War. But, which one? For us, it’s obvious : we’re talking about the Americans in ‘Nam, the protests in 1968, and Apocalypse Now. But for the Vietnamese, it begs to be clarified ; because, before those Americans, the Chinese, the Mongolians, the Japanese and the French, to name only the biggest, had already got their arses kicked by this small but resolute people.
