The helmsman here is Frédéric Buyle. Freediving champion, with several world records under his belt, but it’s his work as an underwater photographer that has brought him worldwide fame. As he quietly glides through the waters with nary a bubble, he approaches sharks, sperm whales, orcas and other marine animals without provoking the slightest aggressive behavior. And now, he’s not just the photographer; it’s Fred that the scientists go to when they need to tag great white sharks. Keep a close eye on him because what he can show us about these animals will take your breath away.
