For the release of my biography of Jean-Claude Van Damme (no need to look for it, it’s out of print), he had been the guest star, invited by Philippe Gildas and Antoine de Caunes, on the show Nulle Part Ailleurs (Nowhere Else). And this was an unforgettable one, partly owing to the resonant way in which The Muscles from Brussels got everybody’s attention. Twenty years later, it’s still echoing.
Pour la sortie de la biographie que je lui avais consacrée (ne cherchez pas, le livre est épuisé), Jean-Claude Van Damme fut l’invité de Philippe Gildas et Antoine de Caunes à Nulle Part Ailleurs. Une émission inoubliable, en raison notamment de la façon sonore dont “The Muscles from Brussels” s’y distingua. Vingt ans après, l’écho persiste.
