It’s downright friendly of the Belgian Prime Minister to drop in on the Dakar bivouac while on holiday in Burkina-Faso. Copious numbers of Belgians participate in what’s known as the toughest rally raid in the world, so that makes for a lot of handshakes. Under the broiling sun, with the extra media hype, it drags on… And the hottest moment? Meeting the Belgian actress and top model Dagmar Liekens, just as fascinating as her cold Coke. Jean-Luc DeHaene left us last year, leaving me with this image of our earthbound thirsts.
Plutôt sympa, de la part du Premier Ministre belge en vacances au Burkina-Faso, de passer sur le bivouac du Dakar. Nombreux sont les Belges qui participent au rallye-raid le plus dur du monde. Ça en fait du monde à saluer. Le soleil cogne, la visite s’éternise, les équipes télé s’en mêlent… Et le plus torride, la rencontre avec l’actrice et top-modèle belge Dagmar Liekens, aussi fascinante que son Coca frais. Jean-Luc Dehaene nous a quitté l’année dernière, me laissant cette image de nos soifs terrestres.
