Now Michael Schumacher is racing against death. Let not this grim pursuer claim victory too soon, for the German has sent more than one opponent into the wall. Ruthless, he won seven World Champion titles, an absolute record. So why, in 2010, did he return to Formula 1? What was he looking for? What was he missing? Writer and journalist Xavier Chimits offered a credible explanation. The only trophy missing in Schumacher’s showcase was the public’s affection. He was an unloved champion. I truly hope he’ll wake up soon, and emerge victorious once again to realize in what high esteem he is held. And to never doubt of it again.
